Brooklyn Kolache Co. is a sweet little bakery with a blue theme that has locations in Brooklyn and in Manhattan on Bleecker Street. From the excellent coffee to the incredibly sweet and savory kolaches and the fantastic service, everything about Brooklyn Kolache is precisely what you want from a neighborhood establishment.

It is a scratch-made bakery specializing in daily hand-filled, freshly baked, small-batch Texas-style kolaches. They pride themselves on using only organic, natural, and regionally sourced ingredients. Their fillings are made from scratch without the use of artificial sweeteners or preservatives. King Arthur flour, cage-free eggs from the neighborhood, and fresh Battenkill Valley milk are used to make our dough. They also bake and offer vegan/gluten-free energy cookies, cinnamon rolls, orange rolls, and kolaches.

To top it off, they also provide an extensive selection of Harney & Sons teas, a packed espresso and coffee menu, as well as house-made syrups like ube, chai, salted caramel, and ganache. Brooklyn Kolache’s Brooklyn roaster of choice is Kitten Coffee.

With its selection of delectable pastries, rolls, and vegan treats, along with coffee drinks like the good morning latte and a vegan turmeric latte, the menu may make you stop in your tracks (also vegan).

Brooklyn Kolache also aims to protect the environment for coming generations. They offer recycling in their store and use post-consumer recycled, compostable, and biodegradable paper products. They also use eco-friendly dish soap, cleaning supplies, water-saving techniques, and equipment.

This is a fantastic place to work remotely with your laptop and some fresh air, complete with nice outdoor tables in the yard that one must try!
